Mykonos Nightlife

If you want to party until the sun comes up, go to Mykonos.  It’s that kind of place.  Out of all the Greek islands I have visited, Mykonos has the most choices and very diverse scenes.

There are cocktail bars, fun tavernas, Greek music venues, jazz clubs, gay bars, energetic clubs, beach bars and trendy cocktail places.  No matter what you want to do at night, Mykonos has options.

Mykonos Nightlife Options in Mykonos Town

Caprice

Caprice is awesome at sunset because it is located in Little Venice, the picturesque harbor front in Mykonos Town. This is a classic place to grab a good cocktail and listen to great music.  It gets very crowded.

Nammos Beach Restaurant

Nammos is one of the most famous beach clubs on the island. The beach party starts at 5:30 p.m. The music is so good you’ll want to dance on any tabletop or chair. Great DJ, atmosphere and crowds.  Nammos is located right on Psarou Beach, the island’s famously posh beach of jet-setters.  International singers and the most famous Greek singers book concerts here from time to time.

How to Get to Mykonos

Fly: As one of the top destinations in Greece, Mykonos is very easy to reach from Athens, other Greek islands or from abroad. Check out the best flight deals on Vayama.

Ferry: There are ferries to the Athens port of  Piraeus and Rafina. Mykonos also connects with other islands including Santorini, Naxos, Paros, Syros, Crete and more.  I highly recommend booking with Blue Star Ferries.

What to Do in Mykonos

Besides great restaurants and heading to the beaches you can check out what the island is most famous for: nightlife.  Check out my blog post on this very topic called: Mykonos Nightlife Now. I also highly recommend visiting the little island of Delos, a fantastic archaeological site that was once a major religious center and port in ancient times. It is now a UNESCO Heritage World Site. A short boat ride from Mykonos takes you there. For more check out my post:  Delos Island Highlights.
