PELOPONNESE

The Peloponnese is a peninsula with too many worthy destinations to count. The region is famous for the archaeological site at Mycenae and the acoustically perfect ancient theatres of Epidaurus.  The land is dotted with medieval Venetian, Frankish and Turkish castles in picturesque towns like Nafplio, Methoni, Mystra and Monemvasia. The villages like Karitena, Stemnitsa, Dimitsana, Mani and more are worth a road trip for the fantastic views and food.
